AppDynamics announced it has received certification of its integration with ServiceNow.

Certification by ServiceNow signifies that AppDynamics has successfully completed a set of defined tests focused on integration interoperability, security and performance.

The certification also ensures best practices are utilized in the design and implementation of AppDynamic’s integration with ServiceNow.

The newly certified technology integration resulting from this certification provides enterprises with performance monitoring for the complete application ecosystem. The certified-solution reduces business interruptions by quickly identifying and improving application performance.

Enterprises are enabled to build a level of application and back-end system interoperability to ensure smooth operations and an excellent customer experience.

“Conventional application monitoring vendors cannot keep pace with the distributed architectures and dynamic applications of today’s software-defined businesses. The inability to monitor and identify problems causes application-driven enterprises to suffer from downtime and back-end problems that lead to lost revenue and poor customer experience,” said Matthew Polly, senior director of business development at AppDynamics. “The integration between AppDynamics and ServiceNow brings large enterprise DevOps teams a new level of automation and visibility when building and maintaining large, mission-critical applications. By coupling AppDynamics with ServiceNow, customers can automate the full incident remediation process and maintain a consistent, detailed record of the problem and its fix within the ServiceNow platform -- bringing together the best of the new breed in enterprise IT for exceptional value to our mutual customers.”

AppDynamics data reveals a single, stalled application can cause significant revenue loss per minute. Application roadblocks experienced over prolonged periods of time can cost organizations millions in unrecoverable revenue. This integrated solution provides automated performance monitoring and problem remediation to significantly reduce the time required to address performance-stalling issues and the loss of revenue that enterprise applications are designed to collect.
