The new ExtraHop Discover 10K delivers the immediate insight and visibility that organizations need to ensure performance and security even as traffic volumes increase.

SSL/TLS Decryption at line rate allows organizations to adopt leading edge security without sacrificing visibility, while support for 100,000 endpoints in a single appliance delivers correlated visibility from core to edge to cloud.

"In the security and performance monitoring industries, not all scale is created equal," said Jesse Rothstein, co-founder and CTO, ExtraHop. "For network traffic analysis, there are inherent real-time constraints and the volume of traffic is increasing exponentially. We're not just drinking from the fire hose, we're drinking from Niagara falls. While other products offer similar connectivity and port density, they fall over when attempting to analyze more than a handful of gigabits per second of throughput. Our new flagship appliance analyzes network traffic at an unmatched scale, decrypts in real time, and surfaces security threats and performance anomalies that previously would have gone undetected"

The new ExtraHop Discover 10K appliance offers real-time analysis up to one petabyte (PB) per day, delivering immediate insight and visibility for enterprise security and performance. The ExtraHop architecture is optimized for analytics at scale, using stream processing that analyzes data in memory before storing data to disk, eliminating dependency on disk read and write speeds.

The ExtraHop Discover 10K analytics engine, with its approach to stream processing, extracts real-time metrics for visualization and correlation across tens of thousands of end points and assets at 100 Gbps. SSL/TLS decryption at scale allows organizations to adopt encryption without obscuring visibility within their enterprise security program. Analytics and record search index metrics provide historical lookback and data exploration for deeper understanding of traffic patterns and anomalies.

Complementing the ExtraHop Discover 10K, the new ExtraHop Trace 8250 offers line-rate packet capture up to 100 Gbps, delivering forensics and compliance in an integrated workflow with simple drill-down from transaction metrics to packets.

The ExtraHop Discover 10K is available immediately through the global network of ExtraHop value-added resellers.
