For a second consecutive year, Gartner named Broadcom (CA Technologies) as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring. We believe this recognition validates our strong AIOps vision and speed to deliver innovation that meets the demands of our customers and uniquely addresses market pressures. We see the boundaries of APM expanding well beyond traditional metrics and transaction monitoring. While these capabilities form the foundation of most APM tools today, we see customers struggling with broader problems such as digitally transforming legacy business practices using Agile, DevOps, continuous delivery, as well as monitoring user experience, and complex environments like containers and Kubernetes. To successfully achieve these objectives, APM tools must go beyond the confines of traditional monitoring of production applications to include intelligence, analytics, and self-remediation.

Today’s IT leaders are asked to monitor new modern application and infrastructure architectures deployed across distributed cloud environments in conjunction with their existing IT environments. However, the ever-increasing volume, velocity, and variety of data have made it difficult to triage issues, reduce downtime, and improve performance. It’s now imperative to have comprehensive visibility across both modern and traditional IT environments coupled with AI and machine learning to correlate and analyze data and alerts for the entire ecosystem. As a result, we see the need for an AIOps solution as seen with our new product innovations delivered over the past year.

We believe our AIOps solution is today one of the most compelling products in the market -- catering to a much larger audience with a highly-differentiated set of capabilities, built for the largest scale our customers need.

Our strengths and differentiation uniquely position us to win:

■ Broadcom is the only vendor in the market to combine app, infrastructure, network monitoring and machine learning analytics with automated service orchestration; helping users solve complex IT problems including performance, capacity and configuration problems before they impact the business.

■ Our AIOps solution uniquely leverages new, innovative AI, machine learning and automation capabilities. The platform normalizes, correlates and analyzes the rapidly increasing volume and variety of IT operational data across the entire digital delivery chain. Seamlessly spanning cloud to mainframe.

■ Our AIOps solutions provide the flexibility enterprises demand by incorporating open-source technologies and leveraging containers and microservices to expedite onboarding, deliver enterprise scalability and provide flexible deployment options.

As Ashok Reddy, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise Software Division at Broadcom stated in the press release: “This offering combines advanced machine learning with enterprise scale, with concurrent use for multi-cloud environments whether deployed on public or private cloud. Now, with the strength and investment of Broadcom, and the new flexible portfolio licensing agreement, we can deliver the best AI driven operations solution, providing the best digital experience for omnichannel with greater business insights and self-remediation.”

When you’re a Leader, you’re always looking ahead! We are building on this leadership with continued speed, and innovation focused on machine learning, analytics, and automation. We believe that we have the right solutions in place to offer a full stack monitoring across modern and traditional IT environments coupled with the analytic insights and automatic self-remediation that will align IT with business outcomes.
