Blue Medora Releases BindPlane for Microsoft

Blue Medora announced the global availability of BindPlane for Microsoft, the latest addition to the company’s purpose-built monitoring-integration-as-a-service (MIaaS), designed for Microsoft Azure Monitor customers monitoring multi-cloud, multi-database or hybrid platform environments. Blue Medora BindPlane is a software-as-a-service that streams health and behavior data from system resources and application technologies to any monitoring platform, providing unified access to this critical data. Following its May preview announcement, this expanded offering extends Microsoft Azure Monitor to over 100 monitoring integrations for the most popular infrastructure and application technologies. These include key workloads running on Azure Virtual Machines like Oracle DB, SAP, and Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS). Azure customers can also enjoy another option for expanded multi-cloud resource monitoring, with integrations for services from Google Cloud Platform, Alibaba Cloud and IBM Cloud. BindPlane not only delivers Dimensional Data–beyond simple metrics–but also interactive Azure portal dashboards and alerts so customers can maximize productivity within Azure, and without additional monitoring tools. BindPlane for Microsoft provides Azure customers maximum observability in the same context as their Azure-based resources (including Virtual Machines) for unified visibility across heterogeneous environments. This enables Microsoft’s enterprise IT customers to: - Improve resource utilization Full-stack dashboards enable more efficient performance and utilization tuning. Enterprise-grade data resolution enables richer visualization, trending and historics for better decision making. - Increase productivity Any-platform compatibility improves collaboration between teams using APM, infrastructure or log analytics monitoring tools by breaking-down metric silos between teams. - Reduce downtime, improve MTTR Find root-causes faster with relational visibility across the full IT stack. “In the past extending Microsoft Azure monitoring capabilities required several third-party tools,” explains Christian Fernando, Chief Product Officer at Blue Medora. “BindPlane is a first of its kind service that allows 150 technologies to be monitored in Azure through a single integration service.” Scott Woodgate, Senior Director, Microsoft Corp. said, “Azure Monitor customers are looking to extend their monitoring to cover a broad set of endpoints.
