EMA Research VP Jim Frey Joins the BSM Blog

Jim Frey, VP of Research for Hybrid Cloud & Infrastructure Management at Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), has joined APMdigest's BSM Blog.

Frey has more than 25 years of experience in the computing industry developing, deploying, managing, and marketing software and hardware products. Most of that time has been spent in network and infrastructure management, straddling both enterprise and service provider sectors. At Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), he is responsible for the hybrid cloud & infrastructure management practice area, which includes the network management analyst team.

Prior to joining EMA, Frey spent six years with NetScout Systems as VP of Marketing. Frey also served as VP of Strategic Marketing at Micromuse, and worked for Cabletron Systems, Objective Systems Integrators and Agilent Technologies.

Frey is a speaker at industry events around the globe and has been published in numerous journals, proceedings, magazines, and textbooks. He holds an MS in Computer and Information Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BS in Geological Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
