SmartBear Software has added functionality to its already popular AQtime Pro tool for application runtime analysis and performance profiling, including full support for Visual Studio 2013. AQtime Pro allows developers to profile applications directly within the IDE as well as extend Visual Studio test projects with AQtime Pro projects and run them in Visual Studio or as part of team builds.

In the past, Visual Studio developers had to bounce between their environment and profiling tool, slowing them down during crucial development steps. New AQtime Pro 8.22 eliminates the back-and-forth with simple to use functionality built right into their environment.

In addition to supporting Visual Studio 2013, AQtime Pro now includes support for 64-bit C++Builder. AQtime Pro can now profile applications created with 64-bit versions of C++Builder XE3-XE6. AQtime Pro traces exceptions that occur in 64-bit C++Builder applications and displays the exception text, the call stack along with class and function names in the Event View panel.

“We are excited to provide AQtime Pro support for Visual Studio 2013 and 64-bit C++Builder,” said Mark Hammer, Senior Product Director at SmartBear. “AQtime is a premier tool that developers rely on for profiling and detecting performance bottlenecks, memory leaks and other issues. These integrations allow a whole new group of developers to take advantage of this functionality.”
