SolarWinds announced additional enhancements to its Reseller Partner Program.
This update marks a key milestone in the company’s continued commitment to strengthening and evolving its partner ecosystem with better benefits, enablement opportunities, and a more predictable discount framework.
For reseller partners, these enhancements offer a clearer, more consistent framework for how SolarWinds rewards investment and growth. By providing predictable benefits across tiers, SolarWinds is giving partners the tools and resources required to grow pipeline, accelerate deals, and support customer success.
"This latest iteration of our Partner Program is further proof of our commitment to improve business outcomes for our partners' customers,” said Barb Huelskamp, VP of Global Channel Sales and Alliances. “We continue to listen to partners making specific changes aligned with their needs to accelerate growth and customer satisfaction. We understand that the more we empower our partners, the better equipped they are to solve the evolving and complex issues customers must navigate.” The new enhancements span four categories:
- Benefits — Based on explicit criteria, partners will have access to more tier-based benefits. These include updated and simplified incentives and marketing resources and support, as well as a new long-term rewards center designed to drive continued investment.
- Enablement — SolarWinds continues to evolve its online certifications while providing additional monthly webinars and newsletters supporting partner enablement. Partners will also have access to new specializations, empowering them in specific disciplines solving evolving and complex customer issues.
- Partner Experience — The Partner Portal experience was a specific point of emphasis in feedback from partners. As a result, partners will now have access to brand-new portal resources and functionality, including an enhanced NFR process, role-based journeys and onboarding guidance, and enhanced content supporting multiple stages of the sales process.
- Discounting — SolarWinds is moving to established tier-based discounts. This provides a more consistent framework helping sales and channel teams align more predictably on program execution1.
“By working closely with SolarWinds, we have successfully removed operational friction, expanded market reach, and enabled partners to use AI-powered observability to proactively identify issues and optimize performance,” said Carlos Rodrigues, President, North America at Climb. “Their newly enhanced partner program accelerates this collaborative momentum by providing the predictable framework and strengthened enablement our partners need to scale outcomes and drive growth.”
To ensure a smooth transition, SolarWinds is launching an extensive series of enablement resources and dedicated office hours to prepare the ecosystem for the official program go-live. While new, explicit tier requirements are being introduced, partners will have a full year to align with the updated standards, supported by a new Fast Track Program designed to help high-growth partners accelerate their status through temporary elevated positioning.
These partner program enhancements will go into effect August 3.

Cloud migration was supposed to be a one-way door. For most enterprises, it turns out it isn't. Cloud data repatriation is a real and growing trend. A new survey ... finds that 89% of organizations plan to expand their on-premises infrastructure footprint over the next two years — and 75% have already moved at least some workloads back from public cloud in the past 24 months. The findings point to a broad rethinking of where data belongs ...
Over the past few years, large language models (LLMs) have revolutionized the software industry. Given their ability to excel at multi-step reasoning, LLMs have helped enterprises streamline workflows and adapt to the unknown. However, employing such models comes with sky-high costs, latency issues, and limited flexibility. In the realm of IT operations, it is generally wiser to employ smaller, domain-specific models instead ...
For years, DevOps teams operated under a simple assumption: collect enough telemetry, and you can find and fix any problem. That assumption is breaking down. Modern enterprises now operate across microservices, hybrid cloud environments, APIs, Kubernetes, and highly automated delivery pipelines. Releases happen continuously, dependencies shift constantly, and failures spread faster than teams can diagnose them ...
New Relic surveyed IT and engineering leaders from the media and entertainment (M&E) sector to understand what's working — and where challenges persist with their observability practices. The findings reveal how M&E organizations are navigating rising platform complexity, audience expectations, and AI-driven change. Below are five takeaways that stand out ...
Let me start with something I've seen play out more times than I can count. A team hits a wall with the cloud. Costs creep up, then spike. Performance starts to feel inconsistent. Someone in finance asks a simple question like "why did this double?" and nobody has a clean answer ... Maybe this isn't the right place for everything. That realization feels like a breakthrough, like you've identified the problem. In reality, you've just identified the starting line ...

In cloud-native systems, scaling is often as simple as moving a slider. For on-premise databases, the stakes are different. Over-provisioning hardware is expensive. Under-provisioning leads to performance bottlenecks that are difficult to fix once the equipment is in the rack ...
When most people think about cybersecurity, they picture firewalls, encryption, and access controls — technical tools designed to protect systems and data. But beneath the technology lies a deeper set of principles about trust, decision-making, and resilience ... The best leaders don't eliminate risk. They manage it intelligently. And in many ways, cybersecurity offers a surprisingly useful playbook for doing exactly that ...
Many organizations assumed their infrastructure strategy was settled. It had been implemented, optimized and built into long-term plans. Recent changes in technology and vendor consolidation are forcing a second look. Cloud outages and licensing changes have exposed how much dependency exists on a small number of platforms. As a result, organizations are reevaluating whether those decisions still hold up under current conditions ...
