Accedian Networks and SevOne announced a partnership to deliver high-resolution network performance metrics with infrastructure performance monitoring in a single dashboard.
Accedian’s sub-second network performance metrics — for detecting microbursts that disrupt transactions and services — and the real-time reporting of the SevOne infrastructure performance monitoring solution, will provide a combined solution to Accedian customers with the most complete real-time view of network health available.
“What makes this partnership so powerful is that it combines microburst measurement capabilities with unified, scalable visualization,” said Keith Donahue, VP Product Management at Accedian Networks. “Together, Accedian and SevOne can offer a high velocity, multi-tenant solution with accessible, tailored visibility.”
As networks, systems and applications continue to grow, become more complex and carry a higher volume of services, communication service providers and financial services institutions need to maintain reliable performance, and uncover greater insights through an exceptional user quality of experience. Operators are realizing that real-time insight into network-wide performance in a single dashboard is critical for monitoring, troubleshooting, optimizing and planning of latency-sensitive services such as financial trading, data center connectivity, mobile and small cell networks.
"Accedian Networks understands SevOne’s value of correlating performance data across a multi-vendor infrastructure,” said Keith Bartlett, VP Corporate Development at SevOne. “By offering SevOne's capabilities within the Accedian portfolio, customers easily obtain more granular performance data faster than ever. The marriage of SevOne and Accedian will ensure customers have accurate information, in real time to make decisions and enable continual optimization."
This integrated offering, brought to market by Accedian, is currently in beta implementations in Asia and the Americas. It is proving the value of an open, multi-vendor interoperability approach to unified network performance monitoring. Through this development process, Accedian and SevOne are able to refine a powerful, integrated solution for network optimization and troubleshooting.
