Please observe the following guidelines when submitting a quote for an APMdigest or DEVOPSdigest list
■ APMdigest and DEVOPSdigest reserve the right to edit any quote to ensure it meets the following guidelines. However, in most cases APMdigest and DEVOPSdigest will only delete text from a quote, but not add text to a quote.
■ The inclusion of any quote on a list is at the sole discretion of APMdigest and DEVOPSdigest.
■ The quote should be from the most appropriate expert within your company. The quotes do not have to be from your current blogger on APMdigest or DEVOPSdigest.
■ When you submit the quote, make sure to include the name and title of the person being quoted.
■ Currently there is no formal limit to the number of quotes a company — or even a specific person — can submit to a particular list. You can submit multiple quotes, however APMdigest and DEVOPSdigest cannot guarantee that every quote you send will be included on the list.
■ The quote should address the specific question posed for the list. Quotes that do not clearly address the question cannot be included on the list.
■ The quote should be objective, vendor-neutral, and not promote or even mention your company, products, partners or any vendor or brand — or criticize the competition.
■ If you want to talk about the topic at length, you are free to submit a separate blog on the topic, to be posted on APMdigest or DEVOPSdigest. However, if you represent a vendor, and would like to submit a separate blog, please note that you must have an open blogging account or be eligible to open a blogging account on the site, and follow the Vendor Forum blogging guidelines for APMdigest or DEVOPSdigest.
■ The quote should be at least one full sentence or a cohesive short paragraph. One-word answers, phrases and bullet lists cannot be used.
■ If you are providing a quote with multiple answers to a questions, each answer should be a separate standalone sentence or paragraph. For example, if you are providing advantages or challenges, do not provide a list of these advantages or challenges. Each advantage or challenge should be covered separately.
■ If you are unclear whether a quote will be appropriate for the current list, run it by the editor.
■ Send the quote by the designated deadline. APMdigest and DEVOPSdigest cannot guarantee that a late quote will be included on the list.
■ Each quote will include a hyperlink to the company's home page — the exact link to the company home page without any additional code. Only sponsors of APMdigest or DEVOPSdigest can use a different URL. No other hyperlinks are permitted within the quote, unless the company is a sponsor of APMdigest or DEVOPSdigest.
■ APMdigest and DEVOPSdigest will always send an email to you or your designated contact (such as a PR rep) with a link to the page whenever one of your quotes is posted as part of a list.
