AppDynamics announced the availability of APMaaS in a Box (Application Performance Management as a Service) for organizations with wide-ranging needs – for example, enterprises that need to manage internal apps in a shared private cloud environment, or managed service providers (MSPs) that need a simple way to add APM to their service catalogs and increase revenue.
With APMaaS in a Box, enterprises are guaranteed end user experience monitoring, application component discovery, transaction mapping and tracking, deep application diagnostics, and analytics – all working together to identify the root cause of application performance and stability issues.
Whether they need on-premise or SaaS implementations, MSPs and other organizations can use APMaaS in a Box to easily and quickly deploy APM – and for MSPs, to differentiate their services in a crowded market by offering APMaaS to their customers. In addition, APMaaS makes it easy for enterprises to migrate from on-premise to SaaS as needed.
“Traditionally, APM software and services have been very expensive, shutting out a number of businesses interested in strengthening their applications,” said Stuart Horne, VP of Business Development at AppDynamics. “There were also deployment challenges. APMaaS in a Box eliminates outdated processes that increased complexity, with a new model that’s cost-effective and built on an intuitive platform.”
