AppDynamics Opens New Dallas Office to Support Rapid Growth

AppDynamics expanded its presence in one of the country’s emerging enterprise technology epicenters, Dallas, Texas.

With a current annual growth rate, based on revenue during the trailing 12-month period, of more than 200 percent and more than 550 employees worldwide, AppDynamics has seen a substantial increase in its Texas presence. The company originally established an office in the Lone Star State in 2011, and has grown the office to approximately 60 employees in just three and a half years, with an anticipated 80 employees in Texas by the end of 2015.

Located on North Dallas Parkway, the state-of-the-art 15,000 square-foot workspace reflects the same edgy, collaborative, and fun culture of the AppDynamics world headquarters in San Francisco.

“Dallas is a strategic location for AppDynamics as our business continues to explode,” said Sean Andrew, VP of Worldwide Commercial Sales for AppDynamics. “Supported by our San Francisco headquarters and London hub, Dallas was a clear choice for our expansion, as sales and renewals in this region account for a sizeable share of revenue. With an industry-leading Net Promoter Score of 84, we are all about delivering the best customer experience, and there is no substitute for being in our customers’ backyard with talented staff to work with them on an even more personal level. There are also tremendous pools of seasoned tech talent and recent graduates of the many universities in the Dallas area eager for a career in technology sales for us to draw on.”

“AppDynamics is defining a new category called ‘application intelligence’ to support the software that is the backbone of modern enterprises,” said Jyoti Bansal, founder and CEO of AppDynamics. “So it’s important for us to expand our geographical presence in technology hubs around the world that are able to support and further our groundbreaking innovation. Dallas certainly fits that profile. We are thrilled to be expanding our presence in this great technology community, and look forward to doing our part to fuel Dallas’ vibrant economy and employment opportunities, as well as to provide close support to our top-tier clients in the region.”
