Pamela Roussos, CMO of AppFirst, has joined the Vendor Forum on APMdigest.

AppFirst is a SaaS-based provider of critical business and systems visibility solutions that allow organizations to closely align their IT and business goals to manage business risks.

Focused on mid-market IT executives, as well as application architects and DevOps, the company delivers the platform and solutions that integrate business performance and system metrics into a single repository, providing cause analysis at a glance.

The company provides a simple yet thorough way to use business and system-related metrics to quickly and easily identify the root cause of application and infrastructure problems and measure the impact to the business, increasing revenues and customer retention.

Known for her technical savvy and marketing know-how, AppFirst CMO Pamela Roussos leverages her strong experience leading teams of engineers and marketing professionals, as well as growing successful businesses. Prior to joining AppFirst, Pamela consulted with early stage software companies such as 6th Sense Analytics (acquired by Rally Software in 2009), Fortify Software (acquired by HP) and on business strategy and go-to-market planning.

Pamela has a proven track record, holding a variety of senior management positions including VP of Marketing at Zend, VP of Marketing & COO at Consera Software (acquired by HP), and Vice President and General Manager of the Rose Technical Business Unit at Rational Software (acquired by IBM).

Earlier, she served in a variety of capacities at Pure Atria  (acquired by Rational Software) including Product Manager, Director of Product Marketing, and Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Developer Tools Business Unit, growing the business from $5M to over $40M in four years. She also spent eleven years at Amdahl Corporation where she held a variety of engineering, engineering management, and technical marketing positions.
