AppNeta launched a free version of the TraceView application performance management (APM) service.

The free TraceView product brings developers unique full-stack application tracing capabilities, enabling customers to trace Web requests all the way through the entire application stack and helping to assure fast, reliable performance of critical Web applications.

The free plan is one component of AppNeta’s new per-host-pricing structure that supports dynamic, easy scaling of data collection.

AppNeta’s TraceView APM service provides customers with deep visibility into their production environments and detailed data about individual transactions; real-time visualizations of latency distribution and population trends; and real end-user experience monitoring.

Both the paid and free versions of the SaaS-delivered TraceView install in five minutes, providing real-time performance data and analysis instantly.

The free TraceView APM service includes:

- Full visibility into all components

- Full drill down into data, including line of code and server

- One hour’s worth of real-time performance data

In addition to launching the TraceView free version, AppNeta is changing the TraceView APM pricing model to per-host-based.

AppNeta is also introducing “Smart Tracing,” which enables dynamically scaled performance data collection for maximum visibility with industry-leading minimal overhead.
