BMC Joins New Salesforce Analytics Cloud Ecosystem

BMC has joined the Salesforce Analytics Cloud ecosystem with the aim of leveraging analytics to bring a new level of visibility and understanding to Remedyforce. Together, Remedyforce and Salesforce Analytics Cloud will transform data and IT resources into a competitive advantage that enables executives to more fully understand business dynamics for informed strategic decision-making.

Wave, the Salesforce Analytics Cloud, is a cloud analytics platform designed for every business user, making it easier than ever for anyone to explore data, uncover new insights and take action instantly from any device.

“In today’s world, meaningful information is critical to business success, yet very hard to come by. The Salesforce Analytics Cloud paves the way for intelligent analytics based dashboards that transform the decision-making process from a game of guesswork to one of precise science,” said Robin Purohit, president of the service support business, BMC.

Remedyforce, an IT Service Management solution built on the Salesforce1 Platform, offers an innovative approach to modernizing IT service delivery. Pairing Remedyforce with the power of the Salesforce Analytics Cloud provides the potential to easily report on multiple data sources, allowing customers to harness real business intelligence (BI) on one platform versus implementing and maintaining separate BI tools and infrastructure.

"The convergence of mobile, social and cloud computing has sparked a data revolution, and companies today must leverage data-driven insights to connect with their customers in a whole new way," said Keith Bigelow, SVP & GM, Salesforce Analytics Cloud, salesforce.com. "Salesforce Analytics Cloud is the first cloud analytics platform designed for every business user. With partners such as BMC, customers can benefit from a wealth of additional analytic applications to extend analytics for every business need, making it easier than ever for anyone to explore and share data instantly, uncover new insights and take action from anywhere."

BMC, a gold sponsor of Dreamforce 2014, is showcasing its new approach to understanding IT and business health along with Remedyforce at the conference. Learn more by visiting booth #N1217 in the Moscone North Hall or by attending one of the many Remedyforce conference sessions.
