Dashboards by Savision Released

Savision announced the release of Dashboards by Savision.

Dashboards by Savision is a fast, free and modern, HTML5-based dashboarding tool for System Center Operations Manager. It allows IT professionals to view and respond to the state of their IT infrastructure on a desktop, tablet, or mobile phone.

Out of the box, the product comes with dashboards for core Microsoft applications such as Active Directory, SQL Server, and IIS. And, for IT professionals who want to build and customize their own dashboards, the product allows them to build their own visualizations right inside a web browser. With widgets like “Top N”, “Heat Map”, and “Web Page” IT professionals can ensure that the information they and their colleagues need about critical applications and hardware is available at their fingertips whenever and wherever they need it.

Dennis Rietvink, Savision co-founder and VP of Product Management stated, “Dashboards by Savision is the perfect addition to System Center Operations Manager. It takes all of the detailed performance and monitoring information collected by Operations Manager and quickly surfaces it in an intuitive manner. IT professionals can be up and running with their own custom dashboards in a matter of minutes.”

Savision CTO Rob Doucette added, “Dashboards is a terrific complement to our Live Maps Unity solution. Live Maps Unity allows IT departments to model business services, share status and SLA information with management, and rapidly respond to business critical issues and outages. Dashboards combines with Live Maps Unity to provide better insight into why availability issues occur and allows IT departments to be proactive rather than reactive.”

Dashboards by Savision is available in a premium version to all customers of Savision’s Live Maps Unity who have a current support and maintenance contract and as a free version to everyone else. The free version includes access to all the out-of-the-box dashboards as well as the ability to build one custom dashboard. Additional custom dashboards may be purchased online on a subscription basis.
