Offutt has over 25 years of experience in the network technology industry. He began his career in software engineering, eventually moving to management at Brandywine Asset Management. He then joined Alcatel Lucent, where he held positions as a Software Engineering Manager and Director of R&D at VitalQIP for 15 years. Later he spent a number of years at Social Solutions, where he partnered with the executive team on roadmap planning and strategic initiatives for the technology team as Director of PMO/Development.
