eG Innovations Announces Free Logon Simulator for Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop

eG Innovations announced the upcoming availability of a free, SaaS version of the eG Enterprise Logon Simulator for Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.

The eG Enterprise free Logon Simulator provides any Citrix admin a no-risk, powerful "synthetic" monitoring tool to track Citrix logon performance, whether hosted on premise, in the cloud, or in a hybrid environment.

"For years, Citrix logon issues have been the most challenging of performance problems that Citrix administrators have had to manage," said Srinivas Ramanathan, CEO, eG Innovations. "When logons are slow, users are dissatisfied and productivity is lost. Our free logon simulator allows organizations to quickly and easily take a first step towards proactively monitoring Citrix user experience. Administrators can monitor Citrix logon performance 24x7, analyze all factors affecting logon, enabling fast troubleshooting and resolution before users notice any issue."

Automatically and repeatedly simulating the process that Citrix users execute to logon, the Citrix logon simulator monitors the entire Citrix delivery infrastructure, even when users are not actively accessing the Citrix farm. This SaaS-deployed tool can be set up in minutes and will be provided free of charge. A simple website signup is the only requirement to get started.

Features:

- Web-based monitoring console

- Full support for Citrix XenApp 6.5, 7.x and XenDesktop 7.x

- Supports logon through StoreFront or NetScaler Gateway

- Tracks every step of the Citrix logon process: browser access, authentication, enumeration, HDX session establishment, and application launch

- Detects and displays logon issues through an intuitive interface

- Tests if the entire Citrix delivery infrastructure is working in concert

- 7-day historical reporting

The eG Enterprise Free Logon Simulator for Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop will be available in Summer 2017.
