Gonen Stein, Co-Founder and President of Eon, has joined the APMdigest Vendor Forum.
Stein boasts two decades of GTM leadership in cyber, storage, resilience, and cloud infrastructure. His expertise spans sales, business development, alliances, product management, and M&A, with a strong record of selling to Fortune enterprises. Before Eon, Stein was a founding member of CloudEndure, which was acquired by Amazon Web Services (AWS). At CloudEndure, he personally drove sales from zero to $10M+, secured major deals, forged over 300 partnerships, led strategic alliances, and executed successful OEM agreements with industry giants such as Google, Cisco, and DellEMC. Stein led the M&A efforts, negotiating with multiple strategic acquirers, culminating in the acquisition by AWS. At AWS, he led product lines for Migration and Disaster Recovery services, working with the world’s largest customers. Prior to his tenure at CloudEndure and AWS, he held key GTM roles at CTERA, a cloud storage and backup vendor, and Safend, a cybersecurity startup acquired by Wave Systems.
Eon's mission is to provide instant access to all backed-up cloud data, through a next-generation storage platform – unlocking backups' true potential. By introducing a backup autopilot for the age of cloud infrastructure, Eon brings cloud backup posture management (CBPM) to enterprises and transforms traditional, hard-to-use cloud backups into useful, easy-to-manage assets.
