ExtraHop Networks has launched version 3.7 of the ExtraHop Application Delivery Assurance system.

Version 3.7 of the ExtraHop system features advanced web payload analysis. As a only non-invasive API and web services monitor, this new functionality enables companies to manage all the mission-critical APIs driving their business, including both internal and external web service calls and their associated payloads.

ExtraHop's advanced web payload analysis supports all major API methods, interchanges, and architectures such as REST, JSON, RSS, SOAP, XML-RPC, JavaScript, and HTML5.

“Without the ability to monitor APIs, companies could be missing millions of dollars of potential revenue and not even realize it,” said Jesse Rothstein, CEO, ExtraHop Networks. “Ensuring high availability and low latency for APIs has historically proven difficult with legacy approaches. With version 3.7, we are providing a cost-effective way for companies to monitor each API call and correlate it with each tier of the application delivery chain.”

Version 3.7 of the ExtraHop system also includes dynamic geomaps, flex grids, and summary-level dashboards.

Introduced with version 3.7 of the ExtraHop system are solution bundles to facilitate rapid innovation in IT operations and policy-based precision logging. By enabling any metric or combination of metrics from any system to be logged with a custom-defined and consistent format across all systems, ExtraHop enhances the utility of log aggregation and analysis tools for both business and technical audiences.
