ExtraHop announced a partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp., a government IT solutions provider.
Carahsoft has expertise working with government agencies and supports an extensive ecosystem of software manufacturers, value-added resellers, system integrators, and consulting partners committed to helping government agencies select and deploy cutting-edge solutions designed to scale to their evolving IT demands.
Under the partnership, Carahsoft will provide sales and marketing support and government contract expertise to promote ExtraHop’s solutions in the public sector market.
“According to a survey conducted by MeriTalk last year, 81 percent of the 152 federal IT managers surveyed asserted that innovation is vital to their agency’s future,” said Michael Shrader, VP of Intelligence and Innovative Solutions at Carahsoft. “As government agencies increasingly seek to adopt cloud, software-defined networking, virtualization, and other next-gen network solutions, they need a platform that offers them visibility and insight into these complex, hyper-dynamic environments. ExtraHop provides that insight.”
The ExtraHop wire data analytics platform goes far beyond traditional performance management tools, passively monitoring all L2-L7 communications, including full bidirectional transactional payloads. Through its partnership with ExtraHop, Carahsoft can now offer its reseller partners and government agencies deep, correlated visibility across all tiers of the IT environment, empowering them to streamline their operations with real-time intelligence about the performance, availability, and security of their applications and infrastructure.
Users can start with a high-level view of performance and then drill down to granular device- and transaction-level details to quickly and easily pinpoint the root cause of a problem. The ExtraHop wire data analytics platform reduces troubleshooting times and the need for specialists, empowering IT teams to streamline operations and provide business stakeholders with the information they need to make data-supported decisions.
