Idera Introduces Windows Health Check

New Free Tool Offers Customers Windows Server Monitoring from a Simple Dashboard

Idera released Windows Health Check, a new tool that aggregates basic Windows server monitoring data in a simple dashboard.

The free tool saves IT professionals valuable time and avoids the traditional click-and-hunt process it typically takes to understand the health of their Windows servers.

“IT professionals trying to understand the health of their Windows servers need to hunt for and aggregate data from various sources. This takes time that few people have to waste,” said Robert Anderson, Senior Director of Product Management at Idera. “Windows Health Check brings all of this actionable information into view so they can see if performance is being impacted by greedy processes, the condition of their memory reserves, and more. Windows Health Check shows you more health information about your server in a single dashboard than any other free tool in the market.”

With Windows Health Check, IT professionals can view the top 10 server processes to identify performance drains; determine DNS and DHCP availability; check CPU, memory and disk utilization; and track network and disk I/O traffic to quickly pinpoint Windows server issues. The tool is customizable to provide information every minute or up to every sixty minutes, depending on IT department needs or server performance.

Features of Windows Health Check include:

- Sample data every minute or customize based on IT department and server needs

- Install once on your desktop and configure in minutes, then connect to any Windows Server 2008 and 2012, Windows 7, 8 and 8.1

- A single dashboard to monitor Windows server health

- No agents
