Ipswitch Announces Distributor Partnership with Cyberworld (Asia)

Ipswitch announced a new partnership with Cyberworld (Asia), a distributor of IT products and solutions in Hong Kong, to enable distribution of Ipswitch unified infrastructure and application monitoring software and secure information and file transfer solutions.

The new partnership will enable organizations of all sizes to benefit from powerful, flexible and secure tools to optimize their IT infrastructure and business processes.

Cyberworld works with hundreds of resellers and channel partners in Hong Kong, delivering technology solutions to businesses of all sizes. Founded in 1991, the company focuses on distributing Network Infrastructure, Network Security, Remote Access, Application Acceleration, Proxy Solutions, as well as Content Security products that enable business to operate more efficiently and securely.

With the pressure of increasing complexity, IT teams are looking for better IT management tools that will enable them to securely control their environment and ensure 24/7 uptime and performance,” said Alessandro Porro, SVP, International Sales APAC, Ipswitch. “We are investing in our channel strategy and expanding our presence in the Asia Pacific region by creating new sales touchpoints and building new partnerships that will help us equip IT teams with powerful, flexible and easy to use IT and network management solutions. As a distributor that is committed to providing the quality products and exemplary customer support, Cyberworld is well positioned to offer WhatsUp Gold 2016 to the Hong Kong market.”

"The majority of our customers express their deep concern about the network management and visibility of their critical infrastructure systems lately. In light of this, we spot the opportunity that Ipswitch WhatsUp Gold 2016 is the best of breed solution in this aspect as it helps customers to reinforce the capability of monitoring, optimize the bandwidth utilization and ensure resources performance.“ said Patrick Lai, Sales Director of Cyberworld (Asia) Limited. “With this partnership with Ipswitch, we believe it does not only enhance Cyberworld’s leadership position within the IT solutions distribution industry in Hong Kong and Macau but also supports our customers and partners to monitor their entire environment with a single cost-effective software product, to flexibly adapt their monitoring approach based on changing business priorities without the need to evaluate and purchase new licenses.”

Through this partnership, customers in Hong Kong now have greater access to the recently released Ipswitch WhatsUp Gold 2016, a unified infrastructure and application monitoring software. With WhatsUp Gold 2016, teams can assure bandwidth is optimized for critical apps and services while also easily automating configuration and inventory management, log monitoring and compliance audits.

The collaboration comes at a time of exponential growth in network management software market, driven by ever-growing demand among IT leaders for monitoring and management of core network infrastructure. A recent report by Ipswitch highlights that nearly 90% of IT professionals across the world are dissatisfied with their current monitoring approach and 78% are challenged to secure the budget needed to meet business goals. It is against this growing dissatisfaction that having a single flexible software product is increasingly crucial for driving productivity amongst IT teams.

The WhatsUp Gold 2016 is available now and offered as a 90 days Free Bundle with Cyberworld’s other solutions, to let customers and resellers in Hong Kong learn the benefits of Ipswitch product.
