iTrinegy Launches NE-ONE Flex

iTrinegy launched NE-ONE Flex, the latest addition to its line of network emulators.

The NE-ONE Flex operates as a virtual appliance, eliminating many of the installation, configuration and maintenance costs of a traditional hardware/software solution.

Launching or porting applications onto new, evolving and unpredictable network environments poses serious risks to businesses. Application performance can suffer as a result of poor planning and testing, leading to reputational damage and loss of revenue.

iTrinegy’s suite of network emulation solutions create a working replication of any network in a safe, controllable and repeatable environment. This allows businesses to measure application performance and predict where problems may arise so they can prepare accordingly.

For organizations operating in a virtual environment, where installing and configuring any physical appliance is not an option, the NE-ONE Flex offers a new way to deploy its solution.

Certified as VMWare Ready, NE-ONE Flex offers all the power and pedigree of the NE-ONE network emulator family.

Features include:

- Intuitive pictorial web GUI and embedded video tutorials for ease-of-use

- Auto-configuration allows the user to select pre-defined criteria such as latency, loss and bandwidth, taking the guesswork out of setting emulation impairment values

- Multi-user capability allows users to collaborate on configurations and output graph test results

Frank Puranik, Product Director at iTrinegy commented: “In the same way cars are rigorously safety-tested in a controllable, repeatable and safe environment, our emulators allow developers, network managers and testers to stress-test applications in real world networks prior to deployment. Virtualization is providing an increasing number of administrators and application developers with an attractive, cost-efficient option and we’re pleased to deliver the power and flexibility of our NE-ONE solution as a virtual appliance.”
