jClarity Announces Gold Release of Illuminate

jClarity announced the Gold Release of Illuminate, a performance diagnostic engine SaaS for Java/JVM based applications.

Illuminate uses Machine Learning to accurately discover the root cause of a performance problem in minutes with an extremely light touch. Illuminate's algorithm works on hosts from small virtual virtualized environments to big iron.

Illuminate allows developers, operations staff and testers to set Service Level Agreements (SLAs) on transactions. If those agreements are breached then Illuminate automatically triggers a diagnosis and delivers a report into to the end user with a recommended resolution.

Illuminate sifts through the complex interactions between hardware, O/S and the JVM to detect the root cause of a performance problem in the application whether that be underlying O/S issues, High Disk Activity, Memory issues / Garbage Collection, Deadlocks and other threading issues - threads waiting on other systems to respond, code that isn't able to run in parallel - and much more.

Martijn Verburg, CEO of jClarity, said: "Our vision is to get rid of a large class of performance problems that exist in software applications today, causing financial and emotional pain. The state of the art today is about reporting metrics, but we want to see real analysis and recommendations done in an automated, massively scalable fashion. This release of Illuminate is an important step in that direction for the industry."
