Joyent Cloud has enhanced its leading public cloud hosting platform with the availability of free New Relic Standard Application Performance Management (APM) for its public cloud customers and planned integration into the new my.joyentcloud.com portal.

The Joyent public cloud is a high performance computing platform optimized for developers and companies creating and deploying dynamic applications that must effortlessly scale for millions of users. Organizations developing in today’s multi-language application environments and deploying services on Joyent Cloud can use New Relic’s deep visibility into live applications and real user experiences to ensure their business-critical PHP, Ruby, Java, .NET, and Python web apps are meeting high standards for performance and availability.

"Joyent and New Relic are both focused on developing tools to solve complex performance and scalability problems in the cloud," says Steve Tuck, Joyent Cloud GM. "Offering New Relic as a standard component of the Joyent Cloud provides our customers end-to-end real time analytics and introspection. Now it’s easier for application deployment teams to deliver superior-performing web apps. And since our support teams also use New Relic, customers can work collaboratively with us to ensure their apps are meeting their expectations and business objectives."

Joyent Cloud customers can take advantage of free New Relic Standard right away, and will have New Relic integrated on the new my.joyentcloud.com portal. After the two-minute signup and implementation process, customers have immediate access to a rich set of performance data for their production web applications.
