LogicMonitor announced a new integration between its cloud-based IT infrastructure performance-monitoring platform and Autotask’s cloud-based IT management software. With this integration, LogicMonitor customers can create, acknowledge, and close alerts generated by the LogicMonitor platform from within Autotask.
The integration is among the most sophisticated the company has released to date.
“Using LogicMonitor’s ActiveDiscovery feature, our customers are able to automate the discovery of devices and configure monitoring on all of their technology, whether it resides in a data center, on-site or in the Cloud,” said LogicMonitor CEO Kevin McGibben. “By employing this integration, customers can now discover and add a new device automatically and intelligently in Autotask along with meaningful monitoring metrics and notifications.”
The result is a vastly simplified and automated configuration management that will save service provider operations teams time and prevent customer equipment or services from going unmonitored or unmanaged.
“The Autotask and LogicMonitor integration automates and streamlines their operations, allowing MSPs to significantly scale the efficiency of their teams,” said McGibben.
