NEC Corporation has obtained validation from CA Technologies for MasterScope Invariant Analyzer integration with several of CA Technologies Service Assurance solutions.
NEC also has joined the Technology Partner Program from CA Technologies.
MasterScope Invariant Analyzer (IA) is an analytics-based, NEC-patented technology that helps IT customers anticipate and prevent user and system performance issues. The solution accelerates time to resolution by helping isolate probable root causes in the midst of large amounts of performance data. NEC IA is especially well suited for large installations where it brings the power of predictive analytics to existing service assurance solutions such as those from CA Technologies.
"Our long-standing relationship with CA Technologies has now yielded the integration of our analytics-enabled solutions for performance management with its Service Assurance solutions," said Terumi Sawada, GM, 2nd IT Software Division, NEC. "Used together, the solutions can provide enhanced predictive capabilities for early performance problem detection and avoidance."
The Validation program from CA Technologies is designed to provide a standard process to verify technology partners' integrated products. Specific criteria must be met, including confirming that a technology partner's' integrated solution correctly installs, configures, and performs as described by the technology partner.
"NEC's Invariant Analyzer complements the ability of our Service Assurance solutions to help enterprise and service provider customers improve the performance, availability and quality of their IT services," said Rick Fitz, Sr VP, product management, CA Technologies. "Customers who use both solutions can benefit from shorter time to resolution when problems arise."
"NEC intends to continue to develop IA integrations with CA Technologies Service Assurance solutions to provide an enhanced and more complete understanding of service dependencies based on the automated discovery of system behavior relationships," said Sawada of NEC. "We look forward to continuing our working relationship with CA Technologies and enable customers to optimize service assurance."
NEC is a channel partner of CA Technologies and reseller of CA Technologies solutions, including CA Application Performance Management, CA Configuration Automation, and CA ARCserve in the Asia-Pacific region.
