NETSCOUT SYSTEMS announced its Enterprise Business Assurance (EBA) solution, consisting of extended service assurance and new security capabilities, NETSCOUT’s patented Adaptive Service Intelligence (ASI) technology, and integral IP intelligence and analytics technologies from the acquisition of Danaher’s Communications business last year.

Digital Transformation is changing the face of business, and IT must also transform to meet the challenges of speed and reliability required by digital business initiatives. Delivering an uninterrupted, secure and high-performance experience for users is critical to the success of these initiatives. NETSCOUT’s Enterprise Business Assurance solution addresses these most urgent needs, including large-scale unified communications projects, custom application rollouts, and more frequent public and private cloud projects, all of which require unprecedented levels of visibility and control for timely implementation and high-quality service.

“Business Assurance is a critical component of an organization’s digital strategy to ensure success both today and into the foreseeable future,” said Zeus Kerravala, Founder and Principal Analyst, at ZK Research. “ZK Research believes that NETSCOUT offers a complete Business Assurance solution comprised of a combination of its nGeniusONE and Adaptive Service Intelligence products.”

Given the need for speed in response to the business, IT is also faced with a complex environment that can be stressed beyond the breaking point if not ready for new applications and services. The vast dependencies on existing services and applications along with the introduction of new technologies like SDN and SIP trunking are just some of the challenges.

NETSCOUT has extended its core ASI technology and the nGeniusONE Service Assurance platform to address the needs arising in the course of application rollout and operationalization by adding platform capability to customize nGenius Service Monitors and associated ASI extensions in the field, and adding pre-deployment assessment and testing capabilities using recently acquired synthetic-agent technology. Complementing traditional code-based APM tools, this solution will dramatically shorten the time it takes to get a new application from coding to full operationalization, especially in large-scale, web-based, customer-facing applications.

In data center redesign projects, NETSCOUT provides the requisite visibility and understanding of the dependencies of critical business services to prevent disruptions while moving to virtualized and cloud-based infrastructure alternatives. The company’s virtualized instrumentation portfolio and cost-effective software solutions ensure IT operations teams are successful in transforming their legacy architecture.
