Netuitive has completed an integration with NetApp's management software platform that will help joint customers gain insights into how their cloud resources are being used, and automatically make adjustments to get more value out of their shared IT infrastructures.

NetApp joins Netuitive’s portfolio of leading IT monitoring tools that have been integrated with Netuitive. These include solutions from BMC, CA, Compuware, HP, IBM Tivoli, Infovista, Microsoft, NetApp, NetIQ, Oracle, TeamQuest, and VMware.

Using patented Behavior Learning technology, Netuitive’s hypervisor agnostic analytics platform helps customers plan for the future by replacing manual, rules-based approaches with statistical analysis that automatically correlates and “self-learns” the current operational behavior of IT systems and applications. It also allows enterprises to plug in and synthesize data streams from existing monitoring sources across silos through Netuitive’s analytics engine in real time. It forecasts issues before they impact performance and isolates root cause wherever a problem occurs to boost overall system performance.

Recently categorized as “transformational” by Gartner, Behavior Learning is being recognized as a key advancement for solving performance and visibility issues connected with virtualization management and the adoption of private cloud solutions.

Patrick Rogers, vice president of Solutions and Alliances at NetApp, said, “Netuitive’s analytics platform and advanced Behavior Learning technology help our customers simplify how they manage their cloud infrastructures. By forecasting issues and automating responses, NetApp’s customers can increase the flexibility and efficiency of their IT infrastructure and help support their business’s bottom line.”
