New Relic Delivers SaaS-Based Key Transaction Performance Management

New Relic announced the availability of key transaction performance management, enabling organizations large and small to take advantage of enterprise business transaction performance tracking.

With the addition of this feature to New Relic Pro, the company is empowering its customers with advanced, fine-grained visibility into their most critical business interactions at an affordable price.

With the new feature:

- Customers can define and track the performance of specific transactions that are critical to the business such as online shopping cart or online customer registration transactions.

- Each key transaction is presented in a dedicated dashboard, which features transaction-level, real user and application service performance metrics.

- The key transaction feature provides automatic baselining, topology maps and service level agreement reports.

"Key transactions is another example of New Relic keeping our original promise to our customers, who are tired of an on-premise patchwork of disparate monitoring solutions that can be prohibitively expensive to many businesses. By offering this critical capability in our software as a service solution, we are delivering an advanced feature that is directly tied to monitoring the health of the business. It is our mission to make our customers more effective in pinpointing and preventing errors in live production web environments." Lew Cirne, Founder and CEO of New Relic.

Additionally, New Relic has enhanced its product with a new and improved user interface. In a single pane of glass, the new UI consolidates real user monitoring and application performance overviews for at-a-glance convenience. The new design makes it even easier for dev, ops and devops teams to quickly identify bottlenecks and performance issues before they impact business activity.
