New Relic Joins Rackspace Cloud Tools Marketplace

New Relic has expanded its SaaS APM solution availability to the Rackspace open cloud and is featured in the enhanced Rackspace Cloud Tools Marketplace.

New Relic’s web application monitoring and management tool is available for Rackspace first generation Cloud Servers and Cloud Servers powered by OpenStack through the Cloud Tools Marketplace from Rackspace Hosting, the service leader in cloud computing.

This marketplace will serve as a gateway to an open ecosystem of cloud solutions, which will give customers access to a broad range of tools that support the Rackspace open cloud. Through the marketplace, Rackspace customers can now take advantage of New Relic’s proven capabilities for monitoring web applications end-to-end, identifying bottlenecks, and rapidly determining the root cause of performance issues.

The Rackspace Cloud Tools Marketplace is a catalog of innovative, third-party developed applications available for the Rackspace open cloud. Additionally, through the marketplace, customers can browse, review and connect to cloud solutions focused on management, monitoring, application deployment, and a host of other areas. By leveraging OpenStack technology and developing solutions specifically for the Rackspace open cloud, New Relic provides increased flexibility for customers and helps them avoid vendor lock-in.

New Relic's application performance management is now available to all customers on the Rackspace Cloud free of charge. Now, organizations deploying business-critical Ruby, PHP, Java, Python and .NET-based applications on the Rackspace Cloud can use New Relic Standard at no charge to monitor app performance 24x7, proactively troubleshoot potential issues, and help meet high standards for online service delivery.
