CA AppLogic Cloud Platform Now Available on Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace

CA Technologies announced its CA AppLogic cloud platform is now available to channel partners in the US via the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, a transactional, online marketplace where solution providers and MSPs can shop, procure, provision and obtain invoices for their cloud services directly from Ingram Micro.

Under the terms of the agreement, Ingram Micro’s cloud team will actively market, sell and support the CA AppLogic platform to its growing base of cloud-focused channel partners in the US. Availability in Canada is expected in Summer 2012.

“Inclusion of the CA AppLogic platform in the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace enables even more solution providers and MSPs to realize the benefits of our turnkey platform for easily assembling and deploying applications,” said Mike Sargent, general manager, Enterprise Management, CA Technologies. “Cloud services and solutions powered by the CA AppLogic platform will enable Ingram Micro’s channel partners and MSPs to help customers seamlessly transition from maintaining IT systems to delivering new, innovative business services with speed and agility.”

“Ingram Micro has a proven track record for successfully enabling our channel partners to sell and support cloud-based services and solutions, and we’re pleased to expand our relationship with CA Technologies and now offer the CA AppLogic platform as part of our growing Cloud Marketplace,” says Bergeron. “The 2012 Cloud Summit is a business-minded event that empowers channel organizations to define and refine their cloud strategy while accessing proven business practices that drive advanced sales and marketing efforts and increased profitability.”

Additional CA Technologies offerings already available through the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace include CA ARCserve D2D On Demand, a SaaS solution that leverages the Microsoft Windows Azure cloud platform, delivers rapidly deployable, secure and affordable end-to-end cloud-based data protection and disaster recovery; and CA ARCserve MSP Licensing Program 2.0, which aligns CA ARCserve licensing with the recurring revenue and monthly invoicing models of MSPs and cloud service providers, making it easier and more profitable for them to host data protection solutions.
