Nastel Technologies, a provider of application performance monitoring solutions for mission-critical applications from the datacenter to the cloud, and Thinksoft Global Services, a business assurance and software testing specialist for the financial services industry, announced a partnership that will utilize Nastel’s AutoPilot M6 diagnostic technology in Thinksoft’s performance testing engagements.
This partnership will allow Thinksoft’s customers to gain deep dive visibility into application performance, across Java, .NET and messaging middleware.
The combination of Nastel’s award-winning AutoPilot solution with Thinksoft’s market-leading services will provide deep visibility into middleware revealing issues that had previously been undetectable, yielding more accurate and faster diagnostics of performance bottlenecks in the test and development stage.
This in turn will allow for better application quality and an uptick in the number of problems identified within the middleware level before applications are sent into production. This is important, as the earlier in an application’s lifecycle a problem is resolved, the less expensive that resolution is.
“The inclusion of Nastel’s technology in our performance testing engagements will allow us to extend our reach from QA and testing to production by creating a methodology that links QA, testing and production into a continuous improvement cycle,” said John R. Kiley, VP of the Americas Region at Thinksoft Global Services Inc. “This will reduce the hassle of production implementation and time dependency on integration with management frameworks without compromising the application’s availability as it moves into the production environment.”
“Utilizing AutoPilot M6, organizations will see improved diagnostics in mixed Java, .NET and middleware environments, especially those with an IBM WebSphere footprint," said Charley Rich, VP of Product Management, Nastel. "This will allow organizations to reduce and simplify integration testing by providing better visibility into moving parts and simplify the process for reproducing production problems in test.”
