PagerDuty Receives Application Certification from ServiceNow

PagerDuty has received certification of its Incident Resolution Application with ServiceNow.

Certification by ServiceNow signifies that PagerDuty has successfully completed a set of defined tests focused on integration interoperability, security and performance. The certification also ensures that best practices are utilized in the design and implementation of PagerDuty’s Application with ServiceNow.

PagerDuty enables ServiceNow customers to centralize alerts and uncover critical issues in real-time thereby accelerating the incident response and resolution process and improving on-call productivity. The bi-directional integration, which is available now from the ServiceNow Store, allows joint customers to seamlessly pass critical operational information between PagerDuty and ServiceNow, enhancing the productivity of IT operations teams. PagerDuty’s self-service platform includes on-call schedules and clearly defined escalation paths, which ensure teams spend less time on manual processes and deliver results with dramatically reduced response times.

“As enterprises add numerous monitoring and collaboration services to their DevOps tool kit, they are increasingly looking for services that can quickly tie-in to manage the noise and improve response times,” said PagerDuty VP of Product Management, Jonathan Wilkinson. “The certified integration integrates with IT operations’ monitoring stack, centralizes all incidents and communication workflows to identify issues faster and improve team productivity.”
