Prelert Names New VP of Sales

Prelert announced that John Sullivan has joined the company as Vice President of Sales.

With more than 20 years of sales leadership experience, Sullivan will be responsible for leading worldwide sales of Prelert’s machine learning anomaly detection and behavioral analytics solutions.

“We are thrilled to be bringing John on board at a time when organizations are moving away from traditional approaches to security and operations and embracing behavioral analytics,” said Mark Jaffe, Prelert’s CEO. “With his extensive experience and strong track record, we are confident that his addition will help fuel Prelert’s continued growth and success.”

Sullivan most recently served as VP of Worldwide Sales at Promisec, a provider of actionable endpoint management solutions. During this time, he established European headquarters, led the transition to a channel distribution model and contributed to rapid growth in both revenue and transaction size. Prior to this, he was Chief Operating Officer at eIQnetworks, an information security company, where he was responsible for the company’s go-to-market planning, sales and strategic partners. Previously, Sullivan held senior sales positions at Micro Focus, Segue Software, Pedestal Software, SMARTS and Empirix.

“Today’s organizations require automated, more effective methods to identifying anomalous activity hidden within their security, operations, and business metric data,” said Sullivan. “Prelert’s machine learning-based approach is at the forefront of this and I am excited to be joining the company as we look to drive growth in both new and existing markets.”
