ScienceLogic® announced its commitment to achieving Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) Moderate authorization for the ScienceLogic Government Cloud that will offer classic SL1 and PowerFlow capabilities, which provides a generic platform for integrations between the platform and third-party applications, such as ServiceNow, Atlassian Jira, Salesforce Service Desk, Cherwell Service Management, Everbridge xMatters, PagerDuty, and collaboration platforms like MS Teams, Slack, Webex, plus many more back office technologies.
Currently designated as “In Process,” the company is now featured in the FedRAMP Marketplace signaling the coming authorization.
ScienceLogic Government Cloud enables agencies and regulated critical infrastructure organizations to manage mission-critical services as they navigate federally mandated digital transformation processes amid today’s unprecedented proliferation of data and IT complexity. With the platform, agencies can unlock a real-time, unified view of their IT resources whether on-premises, in the cloud, or in hybrid environments, complete with business service views to deliver visibility and analytics into the health and status of critical services.
“Achieving FedRAMP authorization would not only reinforce ScienceLogic’s commitment to strong security and compliance, joining our existing listing on the Department of Defense Information Networks (DoDIN) Approved Products List (APL), ISO 27001, and other certifications, but will also enable public sector organizations at the federal, state, and local levels to leverage the platform in alignment with federal security standards,” said Dave Link, CEO and co-founder of ScienceLogic. “With digital transformation, IT modernization, and increased constituent demand for always-on digital services, a FedRAMP authorization would facilitate the procurement of the ScienceLogic Government Cloud and enable agencies to achieve the critical IT observability and efficiencies they need to sustain operations.”
“Public sector agencies need access to IT systems with proven security and compliance to ensure their ability to withstand the evolving cyber threat landscape as they address complexity to achieve maximal service efficiency, reliability, and uptime,” said Lee Koepping, chief technologist for the public sector at ScienceLogic. “We’re pleased to take a significant step toward providing them a streamlined way to access the ScienceLogic Government Cloud’s proven security protocol and delivering IT operations acceleration with peace of mind.”
