ServiceNow Opens Silicon Valley Development Center

ServiceNow is opening its Silicon Valley development center in San Jose, California. The new facility marks the debut of ServiceNow in Silicon Valley. The ServiceNow San Jose development center opens on August 10, 2011.

Headquartered in San Diego, ServiceNow hired 130 new employees in the last 90 days. Not coincidentally, Frank Slootman was selected and started as the new CEO of ServiceNow on May 2, 2011. With approximately 400 employees today, ServiceNow expects to add another 100 employees by the end of September 2011.

Moti Eliav, ServiceNow VP of Platform development, will use the San Jose facility as home base to triple the size of the ServiceNow Platform development team in the next 12 months.

The ServiceNow San Jose development center is located in the Metro Plaza business park, less than one mile from San Jose International Airport, and walking distance to many popular restaurants and fitness centers. The San Jose facility is located at 181 Metro Drive.
