TeamQuest Announces New Optimization in a Box

TeamQuest announced availability of a new service called TeamQuest Optimization in a Box.

Combining their comprehensive suite of tools and technologies for automated optimization along with over twenty years experience of services and strategic advice to customers with complex, globally distributed IT operations, Optimization in a Box is geared toward enabling businesses to realize the full performance benefits of the modern data center.

This offering, based upon the capabilities of TeamQuest Surveyor, allows businesses a federated view of critical performance data, along with powerful automation routines to improve or repair performance outputs. All of this is analyzed and turned into decision support that is relevant for the customer, providing tangible risk avoidance and efficiency gains.

Optimization in a Box is an attractive option, particularly for organizations that lack the staff to do it themselves, have insufficient time to implement proactive processes, or simply need a quick win. The service bundles software with expert analysis, requiring no upfront investment in capital expenses and freeing staff for other duties.

This service is administered by TeamQuest Global Services, which deploys the solution and continuously monitors performance remotely, providing service level reporting and analysis at predefined intervals. This approach has considerable business benefits, including:

- No human resources necessary at the customer site

- No software deployed/installed on production systems

- No end-customer expertise needed in performance measurement or capacity planning

"IT operations are critical to the success of any company, whether it be a Fortune 500 company or a mid size enterprise, however, in order to do so, companies need to have the resources on hand to ensure their systems are optimized for today’s hyper-competitive atmosphere,” said TeamQuest Director of Global Services Per Bauer. “We have created a method for all organizations looking to tackle mission-critical technology decisions associated with running cloud, mobile, SaaS, and other platforms, all in the name of improving business efficiency."
