Vasona Networks Joins the Vendor Forum

John Reister, VP of Marketing and Product Management for Vasona Networks, has joined the APMdigest Vendor Forum.

Before Vasona, John Reister was VP product strategy for Arris, joining through its acquisition of BigBand Networks where he was VP advanced technology and chief architect. He was instrumental in the company's expansion to telecom markets with platforms for advanced video services. Previously Reister was CTO of DSL pioneer Copper Mountain Networks, a consultant with Bain & Co. and an engineer with McDonnell Douglas.

Founded in 2010, Vasona Networks works with global mobile network operators on improving mobile broadband experiences. The company has introduced the pioneering SmartAIR1000 edge application controller that addresses congestion conditions in real time for RAN performance and customer experiences, and the SmartVISION analysis suite for visibility about application activities within each cell of a network. The technology is based on comprehensive perspective on all data activity within every cell at any time. The company is headquartered in Santa Clara, California, with offices around the world.
