WildPackets, founded in 1990, develops hardware and software solutions that drive network performance, enabling organizations of all sizes to analyze, troubleshoot, optimize, and secure their wired and wireless networks.

WildPackets products are sold in over 60 countries and deployed in all industrial sectors. Customers include Boeing, Chrysler, Fidelity, Motorola, Nationwide, and over 80 percent of the Fortune 1000. WildPackets is a Cisco Technical Development Partner (CTDP).

OmniPeek from WildPackets allows you to monitor application response time, round-trip network delay, server responsiveness, database transactions per second, and myriad other low-level statistics and introduces the Application Performance Index to standardize the overall assessment of user satisfaction.

With so many different metrics being produced by so many tools, how can you normalize performance and diagnostic information into something meaningful–into something that ultimately characterizes the experience of end users on the network? With OmniPeek you can see an Application Performance score, drill down to the specific network traffic used to compute that score, and then use OmniPeek's Expert Analysis and graphical tools such as Packet Visualizer to diagnose and correct any performance bottlenecks.
