Compuware Corporation announced the availability of the Compuware Gomez China Portal 2.0. This new portal provides local-language access to the Gomez Application Performance Management (APM) platform and provides unique value to organizations in the Chinese market, meeting increasing demand in one of the world's fastest-growing economies.
Leveraging proven global practices, the introduction of this updated platform in China extends Compuware's software-as-a-service (SaaS) APM product and provides a simplified solution within a single operations management framework to address APM requirements.
New features and capabilities in the Gomez China Portal 2.0 include:
Unified China Portal Integrates Multiple Web Performance Measurements: A single, unified view of web site performance as measured synthetically from more than 150,000 Last Mile and Internet backbone locations provides real-time data in Chinese. Real-user monitoring (RUM) measures performance directly from a user's browser or mobile device, allowing customers to measure real-user performance by geography, browser, ISP and device. This provides a complete view of application performance and end-user experience.
Comprehensive Testing Coverage: The Gomez Network is the largest testing network in the world, testing and monitoring customer websites from 150,000+ global locations to deliver comprehensive, accurate and actionable web application performance insight across multiple browsers. This network also includes 150+ worldwide backbone nodes (including 27 in China), 150,000-member public peer network (including 5000+ in China) and 400+ Internet Data Center monitoring nodes in China.
"Organizations in China are raising their game in response to increasing consumer expectations," said Nick Evered, Vice President of Compuware Asia and India. "Developed by our highly experienced research and development team in China, the Gomez China Portal 2.0 provides the tools necessary to monitor China customers' service-levels to detect and remedy performance issues at the early stage before they impact business. Our world-class APM solutions provide China organizations with an opportunity to leverage proven best practices and leapfrog the competition."
