Robert Gates, Senior Analyst, Network Infrastructure and Operations, Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), has joined the APM Blog.

Gates first entered the IT world as a technology journalist writing about data center topics at TechTarget. Later, he performed account-based marketing research at PipelineIQ, doing work to match enterprise IT teams with solutions from Apple, FireEye, Google Cloud Platform, Nutanix, Rapid7, Veeam, Veritas, and others. Most recently, at The RepTrak Company, Gates wrote and edited thought leadership for Chief Communications Officers at companies around the world, including Lenovo and VMware. He managed the company's content library and produced webinars for corporate communication professionals. He holds a
BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from Saint Michael's College in Vermont.
