Ensono Partners With NTT DATA

Ensono announced its partnership with NTT DATA to provide mainframe-as-a-service and IBM i managed services to NTT DATA’s client base.

By working with Ensono, NTT DATA is able to add additional scale and flexibility to its services capabilities that will help clients continue to manage, grow and transform their mainframe and IBM i capabilities.

Despite the rise of cloud services, the global mainframe market is expected to reach over $7 billion by the end of 2026, showcasing the strategic importance of mainframe technologies to future innovation. As the leading managed service provider for companies modernizing across mainframe and cloud-based environments, Ensono will support NTT DATA clients with managed mainframe services through its Mainframe Remote Hosted offering located in NTT DATA’s data centers. Ensono is also providing IBM i and AIX Remote Infrastructure Management services to NTT DATA’s IBM Power clients. NTT DATA will also partner with Ensono on future client engagements that include these key platforms.

“By working with Ensono, clients can achieve a stable, long-term solution for their most mission-critical applications while gaining cloud-like flexibility and agility. With our shared goal of advancing clients’ digital transformation journeys, NTT DATA is a great partner for us to implement IT solutions that are best-in-class for enterprises.” said Marc Capri, President at Ensono.

As part of the partnership, NTT DATA’s mainframe and IBM i team members have become Ensono associates. By continuing to put talent at the forefront of both companies, NTT DATA and Ensono are ensuring that clients’ business goals are met while allowing each provider to focus on growing strategic initiatives internally and externally within the market.

“By leveraging Ensono’s specialized mainframe and IBM i expertise, we can continue to focus on our business solutions and consulting capabilities while enabling our clients to create an IT environment that works for them,” said Mark Harrow, SVP at NTT DATA. “... our partnership will advance innovation across industries and help clients achieve their digital goals.”
