Goliath Technologies Introduces MonitorIT 11

Goliath Technologies announced the availability of MonitorIT 11.

“Our technology is purpose built for virtual desktop environments,” said Raja Jadeja, VP of Technical Operations at Goliath Technologies. “MonitorIT 11 now quickly enables organizations to monitor the leading indicators of performance degradation of many disparate elements in the virtual desktop environment so administrators are able to remediate issues before they impact end users. Our goal is to eliminate ‘end user alerts’ to IT and help them deliver the best virtual application and desktop experiences possible to their end users.”

Goliath Technologies is a Citrix Ready partner, and has worked with Citrix to verify its solutions to be compatible with Citrix products.

MonitorIT 11 from Goliath Technologies delivers proactive monitoring enhancements for the users of Citrix XenApp and Citrix XenDesktop. MonitorIT now gives greater clarity and understanding to IT professionals tasked with ensuring end-user experiences through VDI, by enabling monitoring and instant correlation of application, user and server side key performance indicators from Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop. The enhanced visibility capabilities quickly identifies points of failure, enables quick troubleshooting and delivers proactive remediation and alerting capabilities for the entire virtual environment – dramatically reducing the number of IT helpdesk complaints related to VDI performance.

Additionally, MonitorIT 11 ships with out of the box ‘Performance Intelligence’ for not only XenApp and XenDesktop but the entire supporting physical and virtual infrastructure. Instantly, the solution tells administrators what to monitor and how to monitor with best-practice default sets for performance thresholds and remediation sequences within the VDI environment as well as the supporting infrastructure.

“Organizations deploy Citrix XenDesktop to enable mobile work-styles, providing access to apps, desktops and data anywhere and on any device. Because of its status as a Citrix Ready partner, our mutual customers can be assured that the proactive monitoring capabilities in MonitorIT complement the management and monitoring tools in XenDesktop and XenApp, allowing IT to have visibility into virtual desktop environments for a consistent user experience,” said Greg Fox, Director, Citrix Ready at Citrix.
