Ipswitch released WhatsUp Gold 2018 Service Pack 2, the second update this year to its network monitoring solution which features a number of key security and usability enhancements.
WhatsUp Gold 2018 SP2 also includes integration with ServiceNow for directly creating trouble tickets from WhatsUp Gold.
“We continue to listen to customer feedback and improved WhatsUp Gold 2018 to make users’ lives easier,” said Bill Doll, SVP and CTO at Ipswitch. “The new WhatsUp Gold 2018 Service Pack 2 includes several key security and usability enhancements and our new integration with ServiceNow.”
In addition to the ServiceNow integration, enhancements include Tor (Dark Net) detection and reporting, Dell Fluid FS storage device support, Microsoft Hyper-V 2016 support and other usability enhancements.
Another customer requested enhancement is simplified migration of dashboards from older versions of WhatsUp Gold.
In March, WhatsUp Gold 2018 was released with major enhancements, including performance monitoring of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud deployments, Meraki cloud managed wireless systems and Dell Compellent storage devices. Ipswitch’s customers now have an at-a-glance dashboard and an interactive map for visibility into the status and performance of networks, servers, storage devices and applications across on-premises and cloud with a single network interface.
WhatsUp Gold 2018 Service Pack 2 is a free upgrade from the Ipswitch Community for all customers with an active service agreement.
