Apica has named Peter Tollgård as the CEO to support the company’s growth, marketing strategies, and core focus on customer experience management.

Tollgård succeeds Sven Hammar, who will take a more strategic role in the vision and product development for the company.

Tollgård has more than 20 years of experience in software and services and growing successful sales, including heading up the US and UK business for Apica. He recently served as Chief Operating Officer and has held positions as VP of Professional Services and Product Manager for Apica. He will continue to focus on growth and success in the US, EMEA and APJ markets.

“Peter’s appointment is part of Apica’s effort to further strengthen the US management team and our journey to support Fortune 2000 companies in assuring the quality of their user’s digital experience,” said Sven Hammar, co-founder and CPO for Apica. “Peter has been an innovative sales leader in the performance space with an excellent track record of leading and scaling enterprise focused sales organizations. His expertise will add to Apica’s increasing momentum.”

“It has been a privilege working directly with Sven and his more than 10 years management of this great company. I am honored that he trusted me with this responsibility to move the company forward,” said Peter Tollgård, CEO of Apica. “Sven will still play a major role in the company as he focuses on solving the complexity that DevOps and new technologies place on monitoring and testing of critical enterprise systems.”
