AppDynamics CMO Joins the Vendor Forum

Steven Wastie, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of AppDynamics, has joined the APMdigest Vendor Forum.

Wastie joined AppDynamics as CMO in October 2013 and is responsible for all marketing activities worldwide. He brings over 20 years of experience leading marketing, product management, and business development activities in highly competitive technology markets in the US, EMEA and Asia.

Wastie has held executive positions at several category leading companies including most recently CMO at Xirrus, Inc, the leader in high-performance wireless networks, where he drove portfolio expansion into cloud and application-aware networking services and a transformation of the go-to-market model. Prior to Xirrus he served as SVP of marketing and product management at iPass and at Juniper Networks as VP of Worldwide Enterprise Marketing with responsibility for the enterprise go-to-market strategy, solutions line management, vertical segment marketing, and strategic technology alliances.

Wastie has also served as VP and GM at Inktomi, along with marketing and product management positions at Netscape and AT&T Online Services. He holds a BA (Honors) in Business Studies and Marketing from London Metropolitan University in the UK.
