ASG to Acquire PS'Soft SAS

Allen Systems Group (ASG) announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire PS'Soft SAS, Inc. – a provider of IT Asset and Service Management software. PS'Soft SAS is a BDNA company.

The PS'Soft SAS IT Service Management Next Generation (ITSMNG) suite includes a Service Desk with incident, problem, change, configuration, release, service level and availability management processes, all of which have been verified to an enhanced level of ITIL compatibility by Pink Elephant. PS’Soft’s Service Management, with its ability to manage the full lifecycle of IT services, complements ASG’s automated discovery, rich analytics, native dependency mapping and model-based approach – better enabling customers to manage service delivery end-to-end.

PS'Soft SAS IT Asset Management Next Generation (ITAMNG) is a comprehensive, integrated asset-management solution. Aligned on ITIL best practices, it helps customers optimize the way they manage hardware and software resources. Functionality for IT financial management is also included within the PS'Soft SAS portfolio.

ASG and PS'Soft SAS have been working together as partners for over 10 years and ASG plans to further integrate its award-winning application dependency mapping plus change management technologies as a core piece of the combined offering. The PS'Soft SAS acquisition gives ASG a more complete service management solution to add to its existing portfolio of data, operations and performance management capabilities within the EAMS (Enterprise Automation Management Suit) foundation technology.
