Zenoss announced full support for VMware vSphere 5 and VMware vCloud Director 1.5. Building on the release of support for VMware vCloud Director 1 last year and the release for Cloud Foundry support earlier this year, Zenoss Service Dynamics continues to enable enterprises and service providers deploying the latest VMware Cloud Infrastructures to guarantee service delivery across their private, public and hybrid cloud deployments.
With this release Zenoss builds upon its support of VMware platforms with hundreds of customers currently using Zenoss to monitor and optimize their VMware cloud infrastructures.
Enterprises and service providers are rapidly moving to deploy cloud environments in order to increase the agility and efficiency of their dynamic, scalable IT infrastructures. However, this new dynamic infrastructure must meet the reliability and service level agreements of a demanding customer base – IT operations must be able to guarantee service delivery whether it is in the cloud or not.
When VMware cloud infrastructure events occur, Zenoss Service Dynamics automatically determines which services are impacted and rapidly pinpoints the root cause of any issues that are putting the infrastructure at risk. This allows operations to avoid wasting time searching through event storms for the source of the issue and enables them to proactively address physical and virtual issues before users are affected.
