N-able Technologies, a provider of remote monitoring and management (RMM) automation software for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT departments, released Report Manager 3.2 – a RMM reporting tool that gives MSPs insight into the IT infrastructures of their small-and-midsize business (SMB) customers while fully demonstrating the value of their IT services to executive-level audiences.

Now available, Report Manager 3.2 is integrated at both the data and user interface level with the N-central 8.2 RMM automation platform, providing MSPs with a single, consolidated management capability to conveniently, quickly and easily customize and generate an extensive range of IT performance reports.

The new software also aggregates strategic-level IT performance data to drive more informed IT planning and decision-making.

"Report Manager 3.2's customization features have been derived directly from the feedback of our partners and their end-users," says Robert Grapes, Director, Product Management, N-able Technologies.

"In today's performance-driven world, effective reporting has become a must have for MSPs, but the time and resources previously required to generate professional-grade reports was a commitment and expense most MSPs just weren’t willing to make," continues Grapes. "Now, through the advanced customization capabilities and ease of use found in Report Manager 3.2, N-able’s MSP partners can quickly produce an array of comprehensive, customizable and branded reports that successfully showcase their business value while strategically mapping out the full spectrum of critical IT issues that impact their customers' success."

Report Manager 3.2 offers a design environment in which MSPs can tailor data to create their own unique and visually-appealing reports, branded with their own look and feel.

The new software also features pre-built templates and pre-configured "report part" modules that can be dragged and dropped onto reports to provide maximum reusability of objects that are data linked, thereby saving time for N-able partners.

Designed as a parameter-driven solution, Report Manager 3.2 gives MSPs tight control over the type and granularity of report content, and the ability to quickly and easily generate incisive, customized, easy-to read executive-level reports.

To further accelerate and simplify reporting, the new release is also equipped with pre-populated charts and gauges. In addition, N-able partners also gain access to a variety of templates including more than 50 ready-to-use strategic- and executive-level reports which focus on four functional areas including the business impact of managed services, long-term IT infrastructure performance, asset management and regulatory compliance.

Report Manager 3.2 is part of N-able’s N-central product family and is available now for purchase along with Essential and Professional licenses, or as an a-la-carte product offering. Existing N-able partners who have a current N-compass maintenance and support plan will be able to upgrade to Report Manager 3.2 free of charge.
